Title IV Program Volume Reports (Student Loans and Grants)

Summary:

The Department of Education publishes quarterly accounts of loan and grant volume at the institution level. This is the best and most up-to-date source for total amounts of federal student aid, especially loans, and the number of aid recipients. Data can be aggregated at the state, sector or national level or institutions can be compared.

This is a critical data source for understanding institutions’ financial dependency on federal aid programs.
